The Curriculum:
The MRM course is
spread over 24 months comprising 2000 marks including theory, practical, internship (summer
placement), field trips and Dissertation. The session begins in July 2010 and ends at

The primary purpose of the Social
Work curriculum is to prepare students to become Professional social Work
practitioner. After completion of this course a student will be a
Professional Social Worker who can get opportunities in a broad range of
fields like Hospitals, Schools, Family Agencies, Industries, Courts,
Probation departments, Government facilities, Children’s Agencies,
Developmental Programs, National and International NGOs and Funding
Agencies etc.
Course
Content:
MSW is two years Master Degree course
that consists of 12 papers, 6 papers in a year and each paper is of 100 Marks.
During the 1st year, apart from 5 theory papers students have to undergo
field study and Reporting of the fieldwork, which is the 6th paper. In 2nd year
students have to prepare a Research Project (Dissertation) of his/her choice
which is of 100 marks along with 500 theory including specialization of
choice.
