THE TRUST
Jayadev Institute of Social Sciences and
Research (JISSR) is a registered trust for the development of
organization including “educational institutions” for the upliftment of
human society and all round development of students to help them to meet
the future challenges.
THE INSTITUTE
JISSR is a leading professional
institute of the state, affiliated to Utkal University of Culture,
Bhubaneswar, and recognised by Govt. of Orissa. This institute is
dedicated to provide on time need based qualitative education on
various disciplines to students from all branches ofknowledge. JISSR
is coming forward with an ambitious commitment to help the students
in their career building in the frontline of all the rest with a
strong leadership quality.
THE UNIVERSITY
Utkal University of Culture, a
University of Orissa State Govt, to which our Institute JISSR is
affiliated is established in the year 1999. On the same year, this
Utkal University of Culture is recognised by the University Grants
Commission(UGC), Government of India under Sec-2 (F) of the UGC Act.
1956. This University is also accorded the membership of the
Association of common Wealth University (ACU) in the year 2002.

MISSION:
JISSR is an institution of excellence
in quality education that continually responds to the changing
realities through the development and application of knowledge
towards creating people centered and sustainable society that
promotes and protects the dignity, equality, equity and social
justice for all, with special emphasis on marginalized and
vulnerable groups.
VISION:
JISSR organizes teaching and training
programmes to facilitate the development of competent and committed
professionals for undertaking research and practice research,
development activities, develops and disseminates knowledge and
reaches out the larger community through extension, of the local and
regional level.

THE CAMPUS
At present the Institute is
located central Place at Nayapalli in Bhubaneswar, the temple
city of Orissa on the well-communicated area of Kalinga Stadium
adjacent to the VIP road connecting Biju Pattnaik International
Airport and Info City. It is situated at a walk able distance from
Bus – stoppage of Jayadev Vihar Square, 2KM from Railway Station and
5 Km. From Airport. The institute will be shifted to its new campus
shortly being developed in a prime location within Bhubaneswar.
