THE UNIVERSITY
Utkal University of Culture, a
University of Orissa State Govt, to which our Institute JISSR is
affiliated is established in the year 1999. On the same year, this
Utkal University of Culture is recognised by the University Grants
Commission(UGC), Government of India under Sec-2 (F) of the UGC Act.
1956. This University is also accorded the membership of the
Association of common Wealth University (ACU) in the year 2002
INSTITUTIONAL OBJECTIVES

To educate the students to build
their career, in development and social sectors.

Orienting professional managers for
the development sector.

Orienting managers with professional
acumen for rural based business organizations.

To organize seminars, conference and
discussions on the problem of social interest and to encourage the
students to participate in the same

Developing knowledge and skill needed

approaches of learning with an amicable relation between the teachers
and the taught.

development professionals to issue on environment & legal aspects

To recruit and maintain faculty who
are excellent dedicated and inspiring teacher

To pursue and offer courses, project
and programme that involve students in rural settings urban slums
and under privileged communities through at the state.

To arrange lecturers, seminars,
conferences etc. on contemporary issues for enriching and updating
the knowledge base of the students and the faculty

To publish books, monographs,
periodicals, journals etc. in the field of social work, social
development and welfare.

THE CAMPUS
At present the Institute is centrally
located at nayapalli in Bhubaneswar, the capital city of Orissa on the
well-communicated area of Kalinga Stadium adjacent to the VIP road
connecting Biju Pattnaik International Airport and Info
City. It is situated at a walkable distance from Bus – stoppage of Jayadev Vihar Square, 2KM from Railway Station and 5 Km. From
Airport. The institute will shift to its new campus shortly being
developed in a prime location within Bhubaneswar. |
