Eligibility
Criteria for Admission
Admission to the MSW and MRM courses are open to both
male and female graduates in all disciplines of any University / Institute
recognized by the Utkal University of Culture. The
prevailing University and Government regulations govern the intake of
students. Before applying for admission to the course, the candidates should
satisfy themselves the minimum requirement of Degree in
social work / Arts/ Science/ Commerce/ Agriculture/
Engineering/ Veterinary.

Candidates
seeking admission to any one of the programmes,
should apply in a prescribed form obtained from the Institute office on payment of Rs.150/- (Rupees one hundred fifty only) in cash or
by mail on sending a Bank Draft of amount Rs.200/- (Rupees Two hundred
only) in favour of JISSR payable at any Nationalized Bank in Bhubaneswar
along with address slips. The Prospectus and the admission form can be our Website
(Please go to Download) and downloaded Form can be applied along with D.D.
of Rs 200/- in favour of JISSR payable at any
Nationalized Bank in Bhubaneswar
Last date for Application
The application form complete in all
respect should reach the office of the Principal with in 14days of the
publication of the final degree examination results of the concerned University.
Candidates whose qualifying examinations results are awaited may also apply
provisionally. Application received after last date or incomplete
application form shall not be considered. The Institute shall not be
responsible for postal delay or loss of application form in the transit.

Selection Procedure
The selection of candidates for both the courses will be done on the basis of combined performance in academic
career and panel interview. The
candidates sponsored by Govt. and Non-Govt. Voluntary organization will be eligible for direct admission satisfying the
minimum eligibility criteria, however, the
sponsored organization will be required to enroll with the Institute as a
Member – Institute. The best merit candidates in their academic career
having more than 60% marks will get a free relaxation up to 25%. Before the final
selection of the candidate, a discussion will be held with the parents /
guardians along with the candidates to find out about their perception of
and expectation from the course. They will also be given a brief
orientation about the course and its requirements.
Reservation
Seats will be reserved for SC, ST and PH students as per Govt. rule.
Note: In case of
non-availability of such candidates, the reserved seats will be filled from
the merit list.
Conformation of Admission
The merit list of the candidates will be displayed on the notice board of the Institute. Also the
selected candidates will be intimated individually by post. It is to be
noted that the admission offered by the Institute is provisional and is
subjected to the final approval by the Utkal
University of Culture.
NB: Any
false information found on verification of the original document at any stage
will lead to cancellation of selection / admission and will be treated as a
cognizable offence.
